In this large, privately owned engineering organisation, a major organisational change was being introduced.  Ashley Hoyle was asked to help implement the change process smoothly.

What We Did:  We designed and ran a series of Managing Change Workshops to help individuals likely to be affected by the change. This helped the people to understand their feelings, accept the change and participate actively in the process.

We also designed and ran a longer session for managers to help them understand how they could actively drive and steer the change process.

All participants produced an action plan detailing how they could assist the change process.  In addition they identified the actions they felt management should take to improve the situation.

The Outcome

  • Participants in the workshops reported that they had a greater insight into their role within the change programme and felt more engaged with the process as a result.

  • Those who attended the management workshop came together as a Change Implementation Group to help make the change happen appropriately.
