This bio technology firm was recruiting their first Finance Director.  Ashley Hoyle targeted several highly qualified candidates and designed a process to identify the individual who would fit best with the team.

The Process:  Personality questionnaires were used to supplement meetings with the key individuals.  The profiles for each candidate were compared against the characteristics of the existing management team and analysed to ascertain the gaps and the relevant strengths which each of the candidates would bring to the existing team.

The Outcome

  • The appointed candidate's profile clearly complemented those of the existing team.  Subsequently the Chairman commented very positively about the process, confirming that the new FD was adding significant strengths in the key areas.
