This expanding and highly rated HE College was recruiting a new Director to join the Board.  They had a number of internal and external candidates and approached Ashley Hoyle to provide objective information to the selection panel to support their recruitment process.

The Process: Candidates completed a personality questionnaire and tests of verbal and numerical reasoning ability. Ashley Hoyle briefed the selection panel on the results of the tests and the personality profiles and identified key areas to probe in the interviews.

The Outcome

  • The strengths and limitations of each candidate were clear to the selection panel when they were making their final selection decision. The college Principal commented on the usefulness of the psychometric data and has commissioned Ashley Hoyle to provide the same services for all subsequent senior recruitment.
